Today I saw Belle and Sebastian for free in battery park (some kids gave me a ticket they got for free anyway).

I hung out with David Field, and a couple of his friends, then we went to an apartment of the most beautiful older woman I’ve ever met, who’s very youthful, very natural, and has long silvery gray hair. I need to take a picture of her for you, Rin, she’s exactly what you were telling me about, about women who age gracefully. Anyway, she was really cool and we all climbed up a water cooler on top of her building to eat and watch fireworks.

David’s friend, J, managed to scrub a press pass and go behind the stage with his Leica.
