Due to confusion during SPE registration I ended up not making it into the pool for student portfolio reviews, but luckily I was able to get on the wait list in case those who were in the pool couldn’t make it for their assigned review slot. This turned out to be a very common circumstance, especially in the early morning slots ;). Because of the wait list I was able to do three nearly back to back portfolio reviews with some amazing people. Each review lasted approx. 20mins then I would go back out into the lobby and put myself back on the waitlist, and rinse and repeat. It was a fantastic experience. Below I’ve posted a list of some of the viewers I was able to meet with. Each reviewer had great things to say about my work but were also able to provide further outside insight into the topic. It was fantastic. On top of this I was able to catch a few people from Fotofest over at their booth and they were happy to take a look at my work!
